Mission Trip Day 1&2 – We Are All Children of God

No matter what your circumstances are God knows you and loves you…

It doesn’t matter where you live…it doesn’t matter whether you can buy whatever you want or if you don’t know where your next meal is coming from…it doesn’t matter if your house has all kinds of cool gadgets or you are looking for a place to lay your head…..what matters is this:

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
                                                                                     Phillipians 4:4-7

If we turn to our Lord and Savior first and stop trying to live up to some human invented standard for life we will find peace.  Do it now take one thing in life that is a concern or trouble or painful and give it to God…he knows your pain and he wants to help.

Peace.
