When I feel things spiraling downward in my mind and I read Scripture I begin to see that my thoughts are filled with issues only surrounding myself.  This is the sinful nature, to be consumed by self thinking.  When I take off the blinders and begin to to see that I am not alone and there are others around me everyday who I can help and support in many different ways I begin to get a better perspective of purpose.  Give of yourself to others in whatever way you can…just as God in the Christ Jesus gives to you.  May God’s peace be with you.

“Remember this:  Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.  Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
