Jesus Christ suffered and died for you because He loves you

He has risen…He is alive and wants to help you in this life

He wants to spend eternity with you as well

Give thanks to Jesus, with your words, actions and your behavior

Choose to live your life every day with a thankful heart

Contentment…Generosity

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. “

1 Timothy 6:6-9 NIV

Give of yourself and be content when your needs are fulfilled

The world will tell you to want more and to get more

God has provided more than enough for everyone

Contentment and Generosity are about all aspects of life…our time, our talents, our emotions, our faith

  The more we are content the more we can share when we have received an abundance

Take time to assess where you stand…where do you have more than enough on your hands and how can you share to help those who are in need?

May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you

Contentment

Father God, thank You for being faithful.  Thank You for making a way for us to know You.  You are enough for us, and You make us enough.  Please show us how You are at work in our lives.  We will choose to patiently wait on You, because we know You will finish the good work You have started in our lives.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Give Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Father God, nothing is impossible for You.  You love us even when we are unloveable.  You are good to us even when we don’t deserve it.  You are kind and compassionate toward us even when we mess up.  Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us!  Teach us to focus on gratitude in all circumstances and draw us closer to You.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Do Your Best, Wherever You Are

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Colossians 3:12-14 NIV

Live in the present today…what is the next right thing to do?

Live today, right where you are.  God is with you

If we are always looking towards the past or the future or to when this or that happens we may miss what God is presenting to us right now…today.

Do your best for God today, wherever you are and He will take care of the rest!

The worldly ways and worldly values say ‘get more’, ‘you need more’, ‘you are not enough’…this is evil working to keep us focused on ourselves and not on God.  The truth is we are not enough on our own and never will be…we need God and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to save us.  We can’t earn it and we don’t deserve it.  When we recognize that because of sin we will never be good enough on our own, with humility, we can turn towards God who has saved us by sacrificing His Son and live content knowing we are saved by faith.  Amen.
