Troubles will come

We will experience suffering and loss in this world…yet we do not need to have fear and we do not need to be afraid

We are loved by God with a love that is greater than anything we face

Pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior and our Lord, meet with Him every day…

He sacrificed everything to save you because He loves you and His love will endure forever

A Psalm And A Song For Giving Thanks

    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”

Psalm 100:1-3 NIV

A spirit of gratitude is transforming for our perspective

Instead of worrying about what we don’t have, we can be thankful for what we have received

Rather than having anxiety about what might happen, we can be grateful that God is in control

Instead of dwelling in guilt and shame about our sins we can give thanks for Jesus Christ and that He has taken our punishment so that we can be redeemed and reconciled with God

What are you thankful for in your life today?

Giving thanks is not reserved for once a year in November

Being thankful and having gratitude is about changing your perspective to a positive point of view

It is easy to focus on what is wrong, what I don’t have and what I can’t do or even what other people are doing wrong

Be different

Take inventory of your life today…look around, what are you thankful for?

Pray about it and ask God to help you to continue to see the good

All that is good is from God and for that we give Him thanks

Give Thanks and Praise

It is wild how quickly we can become distracted

Today’s world is filled with so much information and so much misinformation that it is easy to get derailed or side tracked

We need to be able to be centered on something or someone to keep us level headed and not chasing every feeling and emotion

God knows everything about us

Try this brief exercise today…think about your last 24 hours

God knows about every single thing and every single thought you have experienced

Yes even that one thought

Now step back and think about the fact that this is true about every single thing and thought in your life

God knows and when we take a moment to realize that right now, knowing all those things that God knows…remember this

God forgives you and God loves you the same today as He did the day you were born

To show you how much He loves and cares for you He sent His Son to take the punishment that we all deserve so that we can still have a relationship with Him

Give thanks and praise to God our Father and Jesus Christ, His Son, our Savior and Lord

The Goodness Of God

God is good

He knows us

He knows everything about us

And He still sent His Son to die on the Cross to save us

God is good

He is with you and He is for you, every day, all the time

There is no one who loves you more than God

He sacrificed His Son in order to give you a way to be with Him

He is near, He is working out His way in your life

Surrender your ways and give thanks to Lord for all that He has done and is doing in your life

He is faithful and His love endures forever

Be Thankful

What are you thankful for today?

How often are we able to see something to be thankful for during difficult times?

It is not easy…yet it is a choice

An attitude of gratitude may not come naturally to us but we should strive for it

It can make such a big difference in our lives and the lives of others

We don’t have to do it alone

Start by thanking God for Jesus Christ and what He did for you at the Cross and see where you can go from there

He has risen

He is alive and wants to help you in this life and prepare you to spend eternity with Him
