Psalm 100:1-3 NIV

A spirit of gratitude is transforming for our perspective

Instead of worrying about what we don’t have, we can be thankful for what we have received

Rather than having anxiety about what might happen, we can be grateful that God is in control

Instead of dwelling in guilt and shame about our sins we can give thanks for Jesus Christ and that He has taken our punishment so that we can be redeemed and reconciled with God

Give thanks to the Lord

What are you thankful for in your life today?

Giving thanks is not reserved for once a year in November

Being thankful and having gratitude is about changing your perspective to a positive point of view

It is easy to focus on what is wrong, what I don’t have and what I can’t do or even what other people are doing wrong

Be different

Take inventory of your life today…look around, what are you thankful for?

Pray about it and ask God to help you to continue to see the good

All that is good is from God and for that we give Him thanks

What are you thankful for today?

How often are we able to see something to be thankful for during difficult times?

It is not easy…yet it is a choice

An attitude of gratitude may not come naturally to us but we should strive for it

It can make such a big difference in our lives and the lives of others

We don’t have to do it alone

Start by thanking God for Jesus Christ and what He did for you at the Cross and see where you can go from there

Father God, by Your grace, You have offered each of us a relationship with You

We can be known by You, and we can know You

Thank You for giving us peace that extends beyond our feelings and circumstances

Thank You for protecting us in this dark world

We give You thanks because we can experience joy and find peace with You

In Jesus name, Amen

Thanksgiving In How We Live

Jesus Christ suffered and died for you because He loves you

He has risen…He is alive and wants to help you in this life

He wants to spend eternity with you as well

Give thanks to Jesus, with your words, actions and your behavior

Choose to live your life every day with a thankful heart

A Generous Spirit

Remember that giving is about so much more than money

Too much time spent focused on self only leads to sorrow and trouble

What has God blessed you with that you can give?

Time…Talent…Wisdom…Ministry…Call to Serve?

Who does God want you to give to?

Think about these things and act in faith

May a spirit of generosity flow through each of us to others who are in need

Give Thanks…His Love Endures Forever

Take time to reflect on your life and remember what God has done for you

Think about the storms you have already come through…how He protected you or guided you safely

Remember that no matter what happens, God loves you…He is with you and He is within you

Jesus left the glory of heaven to come down and live as one of us

He sacrificed Himself to be beaten and crucified and to pay the penalty for our sin so that we could have a relationship with God

God will do for you that which you cannot do for yourself

Put your trust in the Lord and give thanks to Him…His Love Endures Forever

Father God, thank You for the incredible gift of salvation.  Thank You for Your grace and mercy.  Thank You for sending Jesus to make it possible for us to have a relationship with You.  Help us to live in gratitude every day.  Show us ways we can grow and share the Good News with others about Jesus.  In His Name, Amen.
