God Is Love

God’s Love Is Forever

“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”

1 John 4:15-16 NIV

Give thanks to God for all that is good

When we struggle or get frustrated, we can find hope in His love

We tend to think we know what God’s plan is and we are surprised when things don’t go the way we were heading

Spiritual growth comes from realizing God is in control and we do not know better than God

If we are willing to listen and seek the will of the Lord, He will lead us to things we never thought possible

He does this because He loves us

Faith and Love…Inside Out

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Faith and love work from the inside out

It begins with the events and circumstances of our life that us lead to have questions

The true answers to these questions lead us to Jesus Christ and His love for us

As we get to know Him and His love we become transformed on the inside

Yet this is not the end of the journey

As we learn and grow we will be led to go out and do good works in the world to help others

We learn to love and honor God

We go out and love and serve others

It is a journey throughout our time on earth…we are to live and love inside out

His Love Endures Forever

Troubles will come

We will experience suffering and loss in this world…yet we do not need to have fear and we do not need to be afraid

We are loved by God with a love that is greater than anything we face

Pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior and our Lord, meet with Him every day…

He sacrificed everything to save you because He loves you and His love will endure forever

Love Conquers All

Love is more than a feeling

Love is defined by our actions

Love can and will conquer all things in life

How do we know this is true?

Because God told us so…

The Greatest Love For All People

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

There is no issue or circumstances too big for God

No matter what, God’s love is greater than anything or anyone

He offers this love to everyone, everywhere

He did this by sending His one and only Son

We celebrate Jesus, our Savior and Lord

He shows us the greatest love and it is for all people!

God Is Love

It has been said that in order for people to receive and understand a message they must see/hear it a minimum of three times

To Know Him…

Father God, Your Word is filled with wisdom and promises that offer guidance for our lives

Sometimes it is difficult for us to understand, please give us courage to trust Your faithfulness

Light our path, help us learn about You and Your way and give us clarity about how You want us to live

God Is Love

Love is about more than words or a feeling

Love is about how we treat each other with our actions and our behaviors

In this fallen and broken world we all will make mistakes and need to be forgiven

Thankfully, God is love and put His love into the action by sending His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins

We have been forgiven

Now it is our turn to put love into action

In what relationship or situation in your life is there a lack of love?

Who in your life needs to experience love in action?

Pray about it and ask God to guide you in love

Unconditional Love

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“

God loves us unconditionally

We do not earn His love; we do not deserve it

There are not certain things you must do or be to receive God’s love

He offers it to us through His Son and by His mercy and grace

Our job is to receive His love by seeking Him, spending time with Him and being in relationship with Him

We are to know Him

And we are to make Him known to others

There is no greater gift you will ever receive in this life than God’s love

Turn away from sinful thoughts and ways and live in God’s unconditional love

God’s Love Is For You

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 NIV

The Creator of the universe knows all about you and He loves you and wants a relationship with you

Look what He has done to ensure that you have the opportunity to believe in Him and spend time with Him

The Old Testament is a back and forth of God and His people growing close together and people wandering off and then coming back together…so in order to put an end to the cyclical back and forth God put His plan together to reconcile us to Him once and for all

He put His plan into action at just the right time and now because of the sacrifice and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the penalty for our sin has been paid and we can be with God for eternity

He did it for you…He did it because He loves you that much
