Believe In Your Heart

Are we fully committed to putting Christ first in life?

Our actions will always speak louder than our words

We know we can never be good enough on our own, yet we seem to keep trying to go our own way

Give thanks to God, for His mercy and His grace…

Because of His great love for us we can return to Him and confess our sins

When we believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified, died and has risen

I know I struggle often when I reflect on my own actions…

The things I have done and the things I have left undone

It is at these moments that I imagine with my mind’s eye, kneeling at the foot of the Cross, laying down my sins and thanking Jesus Christ for His sacrifice

God is with you and me, He loves us and only He can lead us through the events in our lives

God’s Love For Us

God’s Promises

Father God, Your Word is filled with promises for my life

Often times my circumstances distract me from Your faithfulness

As I read and re-read Your promises fill me with comfort and peace that surpasses understanding because I believe You are working for good at all times

Trust

Be Courageous In The Faith

There are many elements of life working against those desiring to follow Jesus

The world, the flesh and Satan all are like a rushing river of water trying to keep us away from God and His Word

We must learn to stand firm in the faith…to be courageous

To speak the truth with respect, kindness and compassion

Remembering God is with you, no matter what

Love One Another

Walking With God

“Do you not know?

    Have you not heard?

When we are in step with God and His plan we will not feel weary, we will not feel weak

Weariness is a warning sign that something we are doing or are spending time on is not part of God’s will for us

When we are walking with Him there is no weariness or exhausted feelings as He provides energy and strength that we never knew existed

Take time to assess where and how you are spending your time and pray to God to guide you to His will

God’s Love Is Forever

Give thanks to God for all that is good

When we struggle or get frustrated, we can find hope in His love

We tend to think we know what God’s plan is and we are surprised when things don’t go the way we were heading

Spiritual growth comes from realizing God is in control and we do not know better than God

If we are willing to listen and seek the will of the Lord, He will lead us to things we never thought possible

He does this because He loves us

God Speaks To Us

God’s Word is filled with His promises to us

If you have questions for God or about God, pick up a Bible and begin to read

I recommend starting with the Psalms or Proverbs and the Gospel of John

The Bible is the Word of God and no matter how many times you read something in it, you will find new learnings or a new understanding unlike anything else

It never changes yet you can be changed forever
