Reflect with Gratitude, Go Forward with Hope

Father God, thank You for being faithful.  Thank You for making a way for me in this life.  When I reflect on past events give me an eye for gratitude in all circumstances.  Please show me how You are at work in my life.  I want to choose to patiently wait on You, becasue I know that You will finish the work You have started in me.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, thank You for the incredible gift of salvation.  Thank You for Your grace and mercy.  Thank You for sending Jesus to make it possible for us to have a relationship with You.  Help us to live in gratitude every day.  Show us ways we can share the Good News with others about Jesus.  In His Name, Amen.

Do Your Best, Wherever You Are

Live out your day today…what is the next right thing to do?  Live in the present day, right where you are.  God is with you there…if we are always looking towards the past or the future or to when this or that happens we may miss what God is presenting to us right now…today.  Do your best for God today, wherever you are and He will take care of the rest!

All Things Are Possible With God

Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 27 “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Nothing we face in this life is too big for God…nothing.  No matter what, no matter who, no matter where…all things are possible with God.  Put your hope and your trust in the Lord and see the good that He will do.

Grateful For God’s Presence

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10 NIV

God’s Presence restores and renews us, it comforts us.  It provides for us even when we are not paying attention to Him.  God meets all our basic needs…our role is to believe in Him and obey His Word.  His Word is not a burden or only a bunch of rules…His Word and His Presence give life, comfort, peace and hope.

Think about circumstances and events in your life that have occurred in the last few days, weeks, months and in the past year…God was with you…so where did you see Him?  Give thanks and trust in the Lord… remember He provides for you with His Presence all the time.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving In How We Live

Jesus Christ suffered and died for you because He loves you.  He has risen…He is alive and wants to help you in this life and He wants to spend eternity with you.

Give thanks to Jesus, not only with words but with actions and your behavior…choose to live your life every day with a thankful heart.

Power In The Name Of Jesus

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

When life is difficult and frustrating, where do we get the ability to move forward?  What could possibly renew us?  What makes some people so resilient?  It has been my experience that there is only one thing powerful enough to lift us up out of any tragedy or trial…and His name is Jesus.

A relationship with Jesus Christ in the way to strength in the battle and rest when we are weary.  To experience His presence, we must do our part and be willing to spend time in devotions and prayer building our relationship with Him.  God made a promise, He will never leave you nor forsake you and He always keeps His promises.  Invite Jesus into your heart and into your life daily and you will be renewed each day.  May God’s peace be with you.  Amen.

Living A New Way

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Every day brings new possibilities…don’t let the worlds values and the pursuits of ungodly things keep you distracted and lost.  Trust the promises of God…we will not find hope and fulfillment in other people because we are all broken and in need of Jesus.

The world is telling us we should value ‘me’ first and live a self-centered life…not true.  A Christ centered life…meeting with Him every day and trusting His Way is the New Way to live…every day.  May the peace of God be with you and flow through you.  Amen.

Is He Worthy?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

As we travel on the journey of faith, we will encounter questions and doubts along the way…that is natural and it is ok.  We need to remember that the one simple truth of faith is that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to save us and reconcile us to God because He loves us.

His love for us will conquer every battle in our lives.  He is worthy of our thanks and praise.  Thank you God, for your Son Jesus Christ…Amen.
