Walking In The Light

Gratitude

There is no one who loves you more than God

He sacrificed His Son in order to give you a way to be with Him

He is near, He is working out His way in your life

Surrender your ways and give thanks to Lord for all that He has done and is doing in your life

He is faithful and His love endures forever

Perspective

Outlook…viewpoint…position…approach…frame of mind…attitude

What feeds your perspective?

What experience or experiences are framing your view?

If we choose to allow our point of view to be shaped by what goes on around us in this world filled with self-centered attitudes we will become like the world

It would be better to build your perspective on a foundation of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We can’t stop the world from trying to influence us, yet Jesus said:

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33 NIV

Align your heart, your mind and your perspective with the will of God

Put On The New Self

We are all created by God in His image

He sent His only Son down from heaven to save us from our sins

As we learn and grow spiritually we are called to put off the self-centered way of living that the world preaches and put on the new self

To live a God centered life that God designed for us

Renew the attitude in your mind and choose God’s way for your life

Be Thankful

What are you thankful for today?

How often are we able to see something to be thankful for during difficult times?

It is not easy…yet it is a choice

An attitude of gratitude may not come naturally to us but we should strive for it

It can make such a big difference in our lives and the lives of others

We don’t have to do it alone

Start by thanking God for Jesus Christ and what He did for you at the Cross and see where you can go from there

Saved By Grace

We have been saved by the Grace of God

It is a gift from God

We can either accept it and choose to follow Jesus

Or we can reject it and face the consequences of that choice

We are saved by Grace

Attitude

Be Thankful…Be Content

Jesus Christ suffered and died for you because He loves you

He has risen

He is alive and wants to help you in this life and prepare you to spend eternity with Him
