Trust In The Lord

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

When you feel lost and alone…frustrated and disappointed…or uncertain and afraid turn towards the Lord in prayer.  Put your trust in Him, He is always with you.

Joy Because Of Jesus

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Jesus has made the Way for us to be reconciled with God.  He came to earth as a baby like one of us…He taught us how to live and then He suffered and died to take the punishment we deserve.  Yet that is not the end of His story…He lives!  We can have Joy because He lives.

We Are Not Alone

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 NIV

God is with us always…at all times, in all places and during all circumstances.  If you sense God is distant, this is about how you have moved away from God not the other way around.  He is center of everything for all time…we are not to be the center of our lives.  God cares about you, He loves you and He promised He will never leave you.

God Is With You

Do you have doubts?  Do you wonder where God is in your life?  Especially when facing a difficult and important issue?  No matter where you are…no matter what has been done…no matter what is before you…God has promised He will never leave you nor abandon you.  In the Deuteronomy verse above, Moses is speaking to Joshua who will be taking over leading the people of Israel after Moses dies.  Can you imagine trying to follow Moses as a leader?  As expected, Joshua had doubts and concerns…Moses reassured Him God is with you.  In the verse below, God Himself comforts Joshua directly promising that He will be with Him.  This promise is not only for Joshua alone…it is for all believers in Jesus Christ.  He knows what is happening in your life…He wants good things for you and He is waiting to hear from you.  He is with you wherever you go.  Amen.

God Is With You

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.”

Philippians 4:4-5 NIV

No matter where you are…no matter what has been done…God has promised He will never leave you nor abandon you.  Unlike us humans, God never breaks a promise.  Every promise God has made has been fulfilled and He only has one more promise left and it will be fulfilled when Jesus Christ returns.  Fear and anxiety come from too much focus on worldly things and self-centered expectations.  Turn towards the Lord, read His Word and pray.  He knows what is happening…He wants good things for you and He is waiting to hear from you.  God is with you.  Amen.
