The Holy Spirit

Pay attention today and everyday…to your attitude, your thoughts, actions and your interactions with others

Let the Holy Spirit be your guide…He is God as much as the Father and the Son are God

Give thanks for the all that God is and what He has done and is doing in your life

May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be with you

He Is With You

He is with you!

No…matter…what!

No matter where you have been, no matter what you have done, no matter how long you have stayed away or how long it takes you to learn a new way…

The Son of God came down from heaven

He sacrificed Himself on a Cross to free you from sin and death

And He has Risen!

He is with You…He is within You

God is with you and waiting to hear from you

Draw Near To God

Make Time For Rest

“Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.””

Mark 6:31 NIV

The pace of life always seems to be increasing and so we must make a conscious effort to live a balanced and healthy life

This includes more than eating right and physical exercise…

We must also spend time nurturing our mind and our spirit

If we are always running at peak energy and activity we will eventually crash as the constant high high’s and low low’s is taxing on every part of who we are

Strive for balance…make time to go to a quiet place and rest

Jesus knows this is important for us and spoke about it in the Gospels

Follow His example…make time for rest

““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.””
