Father God, by Your grace, You have offered each of us a relationship with You

We can be known by You, and we can know You

Thank You for giving us peace that extends beyond our feelings and circumstances

Thank You for protecting us in this dark world

We give You thanks because we can experience joy and find peace with You

Joy Because God Is Faithful

Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we have been unfaithful to You

Thank You for Your presence in our lives and for never leaving us alone

We know that You will continue to guide us and protect us as You work in us and through us

Help us remember to place our hope and trust in You, so that we can experience true joy

Joy Because God Is With Us

No matter where you are or where you go

God is with you

He is there in the morning

Seek Him and His Word

Pursue a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus

Joy Because God Keeps His Promises

God promised to send the Messiah

God fulfilled that promise when He sent His One and only Son to save us

God has made many other promises in Scripture

He has kept every promise He made

The only promise we are waiting for Him to fulfill is the return of Jesus

It will happen…He will come again

I know because God keeps His promises

Advent Reflections – Joy

Joy…it goes deeper than happiness

It is not about our circumstances…it is based on the foundation of faith and knowing that God is good and that He wants good things for us

Our circumstances may not be very good at times yet joy in the Lord reminds us that we are not alone

If we believe in Jesus and seek Him by reading God’s Word and growing in faith there is no issue or no situation He won’t help us over come

Remember Jesus came to bring great Joy to all the people!
