Father God, thank You for giving us Your Word.  Scripture is full of truth and life, and we never want to take it for granted.  We know that we are easily distracted, and yet You give us the strength to persevere.  Show us how to meditate on your Word.  Teach us to prioritize our relationship with You above all else.  In Jesus name, Amen.

When Trouble Comes…

Father God, You are strong and faithful.  Thank You for encouraging me through Your Spirit, even when I am struggling.  Help me never give up but to continue to follow after You regardless of my circumstances.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Do we always get what we want, when we want it?

No. Does a child always get what they ask for?

No. Do they understand why?

No, they don’t…what we do know is that God wants us to pray.

It is our way to communicate and stay connected to God.

It Takes Courage…

Courage is not the absence of fear…Courage is the willingness to move forward without knowing the outcome…to admit we don’t know the answers…to be patient…Having courage is placing your trust in God ahead of fear…it is about not allowing fear to stop you or defeat you.

  It takes courage to seek the Light…to surrender your plans for God’s plan…

Living Hope Perspective

Father God, You are faithful and Your mercy endures forever.  You are the source of hope and the giver of peace to all who call on You!  You know what each of us is facing and working to overcome every day.  So, we call out to You, our source of hope, thank You for Your forgiveness and lead us to living a life that honors You and shows love to others.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Believe

Believe in the power of God…He is our Creator…He is our Savior…He will guide us with the Holy Spirit.  God can and will rescue you.  Don’t give up hope…don’t keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  Believe in God’s saving grace, believe in God’s love for you.  Trust in the Lord and He will rescue you.

God Is Our Refuge

Father God, nothing is impossible for You.  You love us even when we are unlovable.  You are good to us even though we don’t deserve it.  You are kind and compassionate towards us even when we mess up and get ourselves into trouble.  You are our faithful refuge.  Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us!  Remind us of how You have shown up in our lives so that we can intentionally give You praise.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Wisdom

Father God, thank You for sharing Your wisdom with those who seek it.  As we grow closer to You, help us to think more like You.  We invite You into our decision-making today.  Guide us to wise decisions.  Show us how to handle challenging circumstance well.  Allow Your love to inspire our actions and our words.  In Jesus name, Amen.
