Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Dare To Be Different

Father God, forgive me for the ways I have turned away from You physically, spiritually and emotionally

If You are not the center of my life, nothing else matters

Please lead me to live differently

Show me how to live a life that draws near to You and is devoted to honoring You and loving others

Stop Chasing After The Wind

“For a person may labor with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then they must leave all they own to another who has not toiled for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune. 22 What do people get for all the toil and anxious striving with which they labor under the sun? 23 All their days their work is grief and pain; even at night their minds do not rest. This too is meaningless.

24 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment? 26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. The wisest person who ever lived learned that worldly values and pursuits are foolishness and he wrote it down to share with you and me

I believe learning from others in history, especially those who had a close relationship with God

This is one of the reasons why God has given us His Word

May we all take time to read and acknowledge the wisdom in God’s Word

Live Differently

Father God, forgive me for the times I have not be “all in.”  Forgive me for the ways I have turned away from You physically, spiritually and emotionally.  It You are not the center of my life, nothing else matters.  Please lead me to live differently.  Show me how to live a life that draws near to You and is devoted to honoring You and loving others.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Choose To Live A Holy Life

God created us and gives us free will to chose how to live.  Our lives and how we live will either show that we love God and trust in Him or that we reject God and His will for us.  Each of us gets to decide how we will live and how we will treat others.  God, guide us and help us make decisions that honor you and show love for each other.  Amen.
