Father God, I know that You are near.  I know that You are faithful and good.  You are with me on my best days, and You carry me through the worst.  You are my protector and my guide.  Please continue to show me how You are working in my life and in the lives of those around me.  Help me keep my focus on You and to be a witness to Your work in the world.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Growing In Faith

Father God, I want to submit to You.  Please fill my mind with thoughts that honor You and other people.  Guide me to speak in a way so that my words can bring life and encouragement to others.  Transform me into a new person by helping me grow from the inside out.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Courageous

God has promised to be with you wherever you go…every day, all the time

When we look around at the world or at our own worries, fears and frustrations…it’s easier to shrink back than to be bold and courageous, to play it safe rather than to go forward trusting in God

This is how living by faith is different than living the way the world tells you to live

We are inundated with messages of self-center living and behaviors

It takes courage to strive to be true to God’s Word

Put your hope and your trust in God and His promises…follow the example of Jesus Christ

Father God, You invite me into a peaceful relationship with You where I can be fully known and loved.  You also invite me to pursue peace with others around me.  Please help me to appraoch my relationships with humility, grace and wisdom.  Grant me knowledge to recognize when I should speak and when I should listen as I pursue peace.  In Jesus name, Amen.
