Power In The Name Of Jesus

When life is difficult and frustrating, where do we get the ability to move forward? What could possibly renew us? What makes some people so resilient? It has been my experience that there is only one thing powerful enough to lift us up out of any tragedy or trial…and His name is Jesus.

A relationship with Jesus Christ in the way to strength in the battle and rest when we are weary. To experience His presence, we must do our part and be willing to spend time in devotions and prayer building our relationship with Him. God made a promise, He will never leave you nor forsake you and He always keeps His promises. Invite Jesus into your heart and into your life daily and you will be renewed each day. May God’s peace be with you. Amen.

Choose To Live A Holy Life

God created us and gives us free will to chose how to live. Our lives and how we live will either show that we love God and trust in Him or that we reject God and His will for us. Each of us gets to decide how we will live and how we will treat others. God, guide us and help us make decisions that honor you and show love for each other. Amen.

Living A New Way

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; ²³to be made new in the attitude of your minds; ²⁴and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.“

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Every day brings new possibilities…don’t let the worlds values and the pursuits of ungodly things keep you distracted and lost. Trust the promises of God…we will not find hope and fulfillment in other people because we are all broken and in need of Jesus.

The world is telling us we should value ‘me’ first and live a self-centered life…not true. A Christ centered life…meeting with Him every day and trusting His Way is the New Way to live…every day. May the peace of God be with you and flow through you. Amen.

Is He Worthy?

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

As we travel on the journey of faith, we will encounter questions and doubts along the way…that is natural and it is ok. We need to remember that the one simple truth of faith is that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to save us and reconcile us to God because He loves us.

His love for us will conquer every battle in our lives. He is worthy of our thanks and praise. Thank you God, for your Son Jesus Christ…Amen.

To Know Him…

There are two important aspects of faith…To Know Him and To Make Him Known. God is the Creator of all and He wants a personal relationship with each and every one of us…so much so that He sent His Son to die for us so that we can be reconciled to Him. Make time for your realtionship with Jesus and get to know Him.

Encourage One Another

Receive encouragement from the Holy Spirit and be renewed by spending time with God and reading God’s Word. God’s love is for all of us and we are created to love God and to love others.

Let His love flow through you and be encouraging for others with your words and your actions. Encourage one another.

Attitude Of Gratitude

Don’t Give Up…Persevere

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,^[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ⁴Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

James 1:2-4 NIV

When the world knocks you down, don’t stay down. Get up, stand up by faith. God has told us we will be persecuted for following Jesus. We should expect it…don’t quit praying, don’t quit sharing and trusting in the Lord.

He is working even when we can’t see it. Be strong and courageous and push on…we know that Jesus Christ has already won victory for us. Persevere, don’t give up, let your faith be greater than your fear!
