Father God, You gave us Your Son, the Light of the world.  Give me courage and strength of character to follow Jesus unconditionally.  No matter what trials or temptations I face, I want to walk with Him.  I want to experience a personal relationship with Him.  Lead me and guide me to follow the narrow path.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Peace And Rest

Father God, it is so easy for us to worry about the circumstances in our lives.  Each day, help us to remember that You are always in control.  Help us trust in Your provision, protection and plans for our lives.  Because we know You care about every need and desire we have…we know we can rest in You.  Give us peace as we let go of circumstances that we can’t control and put ourselves into Your hands.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, it is easy for us to get distracted and worry about circumstances in our lives.  Each day, help us remember that You are always in control.  We can have peace because we are trusting in Your protection and plans for us.  We know You are near and that You care about our every need.  Help us remember we can have hope because You are always working for our good.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, please show us what in our lives we are withholding from You.  We want to live fully surrendered.  Teach us how to prioritize following You and loving others.  No matter how hard it may be, we want to daily deny our self-focused desires and seek You first.  In Jesus name.  Amen.
