Father God, open our eyes to what we are truly devoting ourselves to

Help us as we fight against selfish desires and worldly ways

We want You at the center of our lives

When we drift away refocus our hearts and minds on You, and Your Word

Father God, thank You for being our good Father

We are so grateful we can always count on You

You bless us and Your love is poured into us

Thank You for Your mercy and grace

Thank You for sending us Jesus

Remind us of Your goodness in everything and help us remember You are greater than any circumstances or difficulties we face

Our Hope Is In God

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

The truth about life is we will see troubles.  Jesus tells us directly in John 16:33, that trouble will come…not maybe or it might come…you will have troubles in this life.  Take time to reflect on what God has already done for you.  If we listen to the Lord and we know life can be hard, we should be more focused on how to get through our struggles and see what we can learn from them so we can share and help others.

God has provided the Way through difficult times…Jesus, His Son our Savior and God’s Word will guide us and see us through.  Think about troubles in your past…looking back where do you see God in it?  Remember all that God has already done for you through Jesus.  Trust in the Lord and persevere through trials.
