Father God, make us more and more like You

We want You to know what is in our hearts, and we want You to change the way we think

We want every aspect of our lives to reflect Your glory

Put Your Trust In God

What do you put your trust in?

Who do you believe is trustworthy?

Take a moment and think about it

The dictionary states trust is – firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something

So, who or what in your life do you trust?

The world is filled with deception, selfishness, lying, cheating, etc… these things were brought into the world by the human race

There is still hope…there is One who is worthy of trust

There is One who is reliable, who is the truth, who has the ability and the strength and He is the One who sacrificed himself to save us…Jesus Christ

He is a Light in the darkness, turn to Jesus and put your trust in God

There is Nothing Better Than You, God…

Taste and See God Is Good

Circumstances and events around us can be difficult, sad or frustrating in this broken world…

God is still good

The difficulties of life come because of our sin and the rejection of God…

Bad things happen as a result of human choices to pursue sinful desires and not God

Take any difficulty in your life and pray about it openly and honestly to God

Not just one time

Do it every day for a period of time

Pray for wisdom, courage and strength

And you will see what God can do

Trust in the Lord, for He is good.

Strength To The Weary

    and increases the power of the weak.

If you find yourself weary and weak…struggling and feeling defeated

There is Hope

Review our relationship with God.  When have you last spoken with Him?

Is He a part of everyday or just here and there as needed?

I know I have found myself guilty of living distracted by my circumstances more often than I like to admit…

Walking with God takes time and effort on our part

God offers us so much yet we still have to do our part to make a commitment to follow Him

He will give you strength when you are weary and weak.  Trust in the Lord and you will find strength

Wait For The Lord

Hurry and impatience are causing more bad things to happen to us than we are willing to admit

Why are we rushing around?

This is not how God created us to be

Look at how Jesus lived on earth

He took time sit quietly alone with God and to pray

Filling our life with busyness is a sickness and will cause damage to our bodies and our relationships with others over time

If you are often tired and weary take a moment to slow down…pick up God’s Word and pray to the Lord

Remember God’s promises and wait for Him to guide you and lead you.

The Power Of Love

When you have fear, choose to overcome it with love

When you are struggling, choose to keep going with love

When you don’t know what to do, serve others with acts of love

You may ask, ‘how do I do that?’

Start by reading 1 Corinthians 13…it explains fully what love looks like…love is action

Jesus Christ is our greatest example of God’s love for us

If we believe that He is the Son of God and we confess our sins

We will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and that will help us to know what love is

And guide us to do our best to show the love of Christ to others

May each of us be filled with God’s love for us and be encouraged to share His love
