Jesus Is Light In The Darkness

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

One of the most difficult things for many of us is being different from our surroundings

When our foundation for being different is rooted in God and the Fruits of the Spirit we can be sure we are standing on solid ground

None of us is equipped to judge the actions and behaviors of others

When we are confused or lack understanding that is a time to pray, listen and learn

It is hard to be different yet God created each of us to be unique so that together we could build community and use our gifts to strengthen the body of Christ.

I pray we all seek to learn how God wants us to use our gifts each day and shine the Light of Christ into this dark world

Nothing Can Separate Us

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. There is nothing on earth in your life that is more powerful than the love of God…nothing

There is no situation or life circumstances that can separate us from God’s love

Trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior

He came down from heaven and sacrificed His life to reconcile us with God

This is the greatest gift you will ever receive

Nothing can separate us from Him

Trust Him with every area of your life and you will know peace

Sacrifice…Savior

Father God, thank You for sending Your only Son to save us.  Thank You for creating a way for us to be reconciled with You.  Because of Jesus’ sacrifice our mistakes are forgiven!  Help us never take this for granted.  Give us courage to glorify You in every area of our lives.  In Jesus name, Amen.

To Know Him vs To Know About Him

Each of us needs to ask ourselves…Do I truly know Jesus or do I just know about Him?

There is a significant difference. To know that He lived and the things that He did and even the things He said is to know about Him

To know Him is to meet with Him daily and communicate with Him all the time

To know Him is to ask Him questions and express your true feelings to Him

To know Him is to do what He did in your relationships with others

To know Him is to take up your cross and follow Him

He Is Worthy

As we travel on the journey of faith, we will encounter questions and doubts along the way

That is natural and it is ok  We need to remember that the one simple truth of faith is that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to save us and reconcile us to God because He loves us

His love for us will conquer every battle in our lives

He is worthy of our thanks and praise

Thank you God, for your Son Jesus Christ…Amen.

Based on your personal relationship with Jesus Christ

He loves you, He gave His life to save you

He is with you, He is for you

Spend time in God’s Word and learn about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus

He did it all for you

In The Midst Of The Storm
