Nothing we do will make God love us more

Nothing we do will make God love us less

We have been saved by the Grace of God

It is a gift from God

We can either accept it and choose to follow Jesus

Or we can reject it and face the consequences of that choice

We are saved by Grace

To Know Him vs To Know About Him

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

Each of us needs to ask ourselves…

Do I truly know Jesus or do I just know about Him?

There is a significant difference

To know that He lived and the things that He did and even the things He said is to know about Him

To know Him is to meet with Him daily and communicate with Him all the time

To know Him is to ask Him questions and express your true feelings to Him

To know Him is to do what He did in your relationships with others

To know Him is to take up your cross and follow Him

Perspective

Father God, I am Your child

Thank You for adopting me into Your eternal family

Please shape my heart

Teach me how to act in a way that honors You in my daily life and circumstances

Help me correct my thoughts and perspective along with any patterns of behavior in my life that displease You

Replace these things with characteristics that show how much I love You

God’s Grace

We can’t earn it

We don’t deserve it and yet God offers it to us anyway

God is Holy and God is love

Because He is Holy our sin separates us from Him

He demonstrated His love when He sent His one and only Son to take the punishment we deserve so that we can be reconciled with Him

Choose to believe…confess your sins

Give thanks to God for His amazing grace

God Is Our Refuge

Father God, nothing is impossible for You

You love us even when we are unlovable

You are good to us even though we don’t deserve it

You are kind and compassionate towards us even when we mess up and get ourselves into trouble

You are our faithful refuge

Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us!

Remind us of how You have shown up in our lives so that we can intentionally give You praise

Allow Christ to Change Your Perspective

Jesus Christ is alive…the promised Savior has come!

He was born, He lived and taught us how to live

He sacrificed Himself and was crucified and died for us

He has risen and is seated at the right hand of God in heaven

Now what does that mean for us?

What difference is He making in your life?

Are you aware of God’s presence in your daily life?

Believe in Him…seek Him…pray…read God’s Word…pay attention to how God is at work in your life

  Choose to live different from the way of the world

Allow Jesus Christ to impact every area of your life and change your perspective

Spiritual Battle

We are caught in the spiritual battle every day

Jesus Christ has won the war and defeated death and evil

Yet darkness is still working to keep us away from God
