What gets your attention quickly?

What is it that gets your heart pumping and your blood flowing faster?

What is it in your life that you have passion towards?

These are hints of your treasures

We all have something that drives to the heart of us…as we continue to grow on our faith journey the treasures tend to change

As knowledge and time spent on growing our relationship with Jesus Christ increases we begin to get a better understanding of the value of relationships

We also can begin to clearly see that the stuff and the things we have worried about in the past may have been foolish worries

We are humbled to learn that God in heaven knows us, loves us and forgives us and the things He has planned for us involve far greater treasures than those the world offers us

May the awe and wonder of our God be with you

God’s Presence

Father God, we know that You are near

We know that You are faithful and good

You are with us on our best days, and You carry us through the worst

You are our protector and our guide

Please continue to show us how You are working in our lives and in the lives of those around us

Help us keep our focus on You and to be a witness to Your work in the world

Plans…Purpose

If we try to do things our own way for our own purposes all the time we will only find discouragement and frustration

Our purpose comes from God, our Creator

His purpose is based on who He is and His love

If we are willing to seek Him and follow Him we will find His way is better for us

His plan is for our good and His glory

We can put our hope in the Lord and trust His plan and purpose for our life

I Surrender All

Father God, I surrender my life to You

You can have it all.  All my doubts, all my fears, all my worries…every insecurity, every selfish desire and past mistake…I give it all to You

Every area of my life that does not honor You…take it

Take it all and use me, change me, transform me, love me and love others through me

Take all that I am, and use it for Your glory

Worry And Anxiety

The Lord Jesus offers to walk with us through every part of our lives…the past, the present and the future

If we are willing to believe and trust in Him…He will be with us no matter what

Regarding our past…

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.”

1 John 1:7 NIV

For our current worries…

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

For our anxiety about the future…

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matthew 6:33-34 NIV

These are just a few of the assurances and promises the Lord has made…the Bible is filled with the very words of Jesus Christ telling us how much He cares for us and how far He is willing to go to show us His love

Trust in the Lord, read God’s Word and pray to our heavenly Father regarding all your worries and anxiety

When we reflect on past events give us an eye for gratitude in all circumstances

Please show us how You are at work in our lives

We want to choose to patiently wait on You, becasue we know that You will finish the work You have started in us

Be Faithful

Accept one another…

We spend so much time condemning, blaming and complaining

We all suffer from this condition in this broken world…no one is immune

Be intentional to be different

Trust God…even when circumstances say otherwise

Let the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) flow through you

Be faithful to follow Jesus and His teachings
