Father God, I want to walk with You

Please fill my mind with thoughts that honor You and other people so that my words and actions bring life and are encouraging for everyone

Transform me into a new person who is walking in the Light of Christ with You

Patience And Persistence

Father God, we know You have a plan for our lives, and that You want to bless us

Help us lean into that promise!

Sometimes it is hard to see past our present struggles

Thank You for loving us even when we have doubts and fears

Fill each of us with Your hope and give us courage to carry on

God’s Presence

Father God, we know that You are near

Attitude

A way of thinking…a point of view…outlook…perspective…belief

How would you define your attitude toward God?

What is His role?  How much time during a typical week are we thinking about God?

The Bible has many of examples of different people and their attitude towards God, it describes their beliefs and actions

The Bible has many of examples of different people and their attitude towards others, it describes their beliefs and actions

There is a lot for us to learn from those people

From Genesis to Revelation, we read about those who put God at the center of their lives and treated others with compassion and those who did not

The best example of an appropriate attitude towards God and others is that of Jesus Christ…He took time daily to walk with God, He treated everyone with kindness, compassion and kept the Father at the center of everything

This is what He seeks from us as well

Spend time with Jesus every day and pray about your attitude towards God and others

Plans…Purpose

If we try to do things our own way for our own purposes all the time we will only find discouragement and frustration

Our purpose comes from God, our Creator

His purpose is based on who He is and His love

If we are willing to seek Him and follow Him we will find His way is better for us

His plan is for our good and His glory

We can put our hope in the Lord and trust His plan and purpose for our life

I Surrender All

Father God, I surrender my life to You

You can have it all.  All my doubts, all my fears, all my worries…every insecurity, every selfish desire and past mistake…I give it all to You

Every area of my life that does not honor You…take it

Take it all and use me, change me, transform me, love me and love others through me

Take all that I am, and use it for Your glory

Fruit Of The Spirit…Faithfulness

God keeps His promises

We are responsible for how we live our lives and how we treat each other

God has given us free will

If we do our part and put our trust in Him and walk in the Light of Christ

He is faithful and will forgive us our sins and restore us

Worry And Anxiety

The Lord Jesus offers to walk with us through every part of our lives…the past, the present and the future

If we are willing to believe and trust in Him…He will be with us no matter what

Regarding our past…

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.”

1 John 1:7 NIV

For our current worries…

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

For our anxiety about the future…

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matthew 6:33-34 NIV

These are just a few of the assurances and promises the Lord has made…the Bible is filled with the very words of Jesus Christ telling us how much He cares for us and how far He is willing to go to show us His love

Trust in the Lord, read God’s Word and pray to our heavenly Father regarding all your worries and anxiety

When we reflect on past events give us an eye for gratitude in all circumstances

Please show us how You are at work in our lives

When Doubts Arise…Faith Can Overcome
