God’s Faithfulness

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”

Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV

Father God, You make all things beautiful in their proper timing

Nothing is too hard for You to accomplish

You are faithful to keep Your promises

So often, we forget this and grow discouraged when our situations don’t seem to change

In those moments, it’s easy to forget that You are not done working

Through Your Holy Spirit, please change the way we think and behave

When we start to grow weary, help us remember that You are near and You are faithful

The Goodness Of God

God is good

He knows us

He knows everything about us

And He still sent His Son to die on the Cross to save us

God is good

He is with you and He is for you, every day, all the time

Trust

Our Call

How do we know what God is calling us to do?

For life decisions and direction?

If we use the world’s measuring stick of ‘what we should do’ we risk missing God’s will entirely

To follow our call is to surrender self-serving desires, to be humble and patient and to have a foundation of a faith that is built on our personal relationship with Jesus Christ

That is what I have learned so far…nobody ever said it was going to be easy

We will face trouble and struggles of every kind in life and if we are willing to stand firm on the foundation of faith, we will persevere

In The Midst Of The Storm

No matter what is happening…no matter what has gone wrong in your eyes

Our God has promised to never leave you and never to abandon you, so don’t turn away from Him

Don’t ignore Him…seek Him because He is waiting to hear from you always…even in the midst of the storm
