Paul writes to Timothy…
“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:6-7

Amen Sir Mcalcagno. what is clear here is a gift that we have, why we have it and what we should do with it. I believe we can not be our better self unless the Spirit comes to our aid and rescue. The Holy Spirit is like added pieces of extended tentacles, without which we would having a terrible sense of everything.
Additionally, every kind of gift is of service to others. I can be a very highly anointed person, great speaker or what have you, but so long my gift doesn’t replicate or translate through others, it is a mis-investment, missed opportunity more like a waste.
The summery is: 1. we are our better self on account of divine intervention; 2. we are blessed; 3. others can benefit through us; and lastly, blessings will always flow by us, through us and radiate outward in a sort of concentric wavefronts to the benefit of others. I love your blog Sir
