The Lord said while speaking to Joshua…

“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.  Be strong and very courageous.  Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you;  do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:6-9

how are you Sir?. This is one of the clearly straightforward and indisputable verse. I am amazed by the clarity with which the Lord went at length to communicate and deliver this message down to us. what I like about this particular verse is the highlight of depending on the word of God, the promises it brings along plus a guarantee that if we met these conditions, a list of positive things that would happen in Our lives. I would like to mix it with Palms chapter 1 which shares the same guarantee provided we are depending or soaking on the word of God for our every need.

Infact Palms 1 goes to length about regulating personal behavior in order to ascertain more time spent with God. By regulation it says we can’t go about scoffing, my understanding is that, time spent on Gossip is a waste toward God. that is why he encourages delight which is passion in his word and its interpretation by being invested in the word day and night in line with the echo from this Joshua scripture.

Then Palms 1 summarizes the problem much more further by pointing out to this blessed man(referenced in Palms) is careful about whom he brings into his social circle. this is transparently clear because if we wound-up with wrong people it is easy to lose track of where we should be or what we should be doing with our Lord. but the amazing combination factor from this two scriptures is this guarantee where the word says “then, you shall prosper”, Palms 1 says, because of that this blessed man prospers in all he does. that is humbly an amazing promise and the truth that the word has to offer, this really blesses my Spirit and thank you Mr for much love and encouragement you are constantly giving in service to God and blessing our spirits. God bless you sir and have a nice day
